Stocking Stuffers For Her 101 (Blogmas Day 2)

Stocking Stuffers for her!

Easy, right? Sort of, but one of the hardest parts of stuffing a stocking is not getting carried away with the budget and spending a fortune!  Then you’re left with not so much to work with when it comes to an actual gift… it can be tough to pull off! So I’ve searched high and low to bring you some great stocking stuffers us ladies would love to receive that won’t break your bank!

Let’s Start with the Obvious: Makeup!

e.l.f. Cosmetics and Coastal Scents both sell great stuff for not a lot of money for the makeup fan in your life! e.l.f. is now available at Real Canadian Superstore in limited selections – so pick up a couple lipsticks like these for less than $4 each, or a blush quad like this one for $6 ($8 CAD at the Real Canadian Superstore)! These are great quality despite the low price tag and will give your makeup loving lady something new to play with!

Coastal Scents is is available only online but have eyeshadow pots starting at $2 USD. These have really great reviews and are comparable to much higher end products.

If you’re looking for something that is available everywhere and a real crowd pleaser, look no further than the essence line of cosmetics from Shoppers’ Drug Mart. Pick up a couple of the Gel Nail Polishes in a few fun festive shades! These little guys are about $2.50 a piece so getting a couple is totally an option! Keep your eyes peeled for their Limited Edition line of beauty goodies called “Mountain Calling” everything from blush to eye liners to cozy looking socks!

So here is the thing – not every girl wants expensive jewellery. Some of us would just really like something that reflects our personality, thats fun and spunky and would be a cute little something to rock on a night out or to shake up the everyday back and forth to work and school look. Try out Forever 21’s jewellery selection or try’s jewellery section – everything is just $1.00!

And Everything Else!

The overall best tip to giving a great gift, even if it’s something small -is to make it meaningful. So think about the person you’re buying for, consider their hobbies and interests and go from there.

If she’s a writer, how about a cool journal like this Kate Spade one from Chapters Indigo and some fun stickers and post its to personalize it? I recently got  Smash Book and love it! If she’s into crafty stuff, check out Does your lady love watching cat videos on the internets? Check out  and go nuts! Does she swear like a sailor?
